It's all in the delivery and Chloe Sevigny is a pretty brilliant actress. I also love the scene where she's sleeping in her new bedroom in a terrible apartment and her roommate and her boyfriend have to walk through it to get to the other side of the flat. Just the look on her face as they walk through. Oh, memories of our early 20s!Miss Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07939895933517000667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8319690451976836894.post-22683798568453060102012-05-18T19:20:34.247-07:002012-05-18T19:20:34.247-07:00thanks for posting the Donna Summer links. I was ...thanks for posting the Donna Summer links. I was one of those thoughtless teens who used to run around saying, "disco sucks". It wasn't until I was older, wiser, some might say less irritating and possibly even happier, that I had an appreciation for certain disco standards. I love the lyric, "someone left a cake out in the rain", too. It's just so evocative, you know? Who would ever do that and if they did who would even think of writing about it? It's very poetic, sad, too. Anyway, disco does not suck and it never did. Who ever came up with that phrase, anyway? Did you ever see The Last Days of Disco? My favorite line from that one is:<br />"I think Scrooge McDuck is kinda sexy". Not very poetic, I know.Dee Seehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07732778914922191119noreply@blogger.com
