Pieta - 1980s

Look, I found my old photo of Ed being very arty and very 80s. The irony, the pathos, the historical reference for no discernible reason--this makes me feel young again.

And yes, I used to wear that union suit as jammies because I was very fashion forward, as you know.

I had to delete that one. I typed it so fast it was incomprehensible. I was so excited, not just to see Ed, but that checkerboard backdrop. I actually remember that bedspread. Was it a piece of fabric or am I hallucinating memories?

Actually, that title is so hilarious. We were surrounded by them last week.

Ha ha! that's right, you were surrounded by pietas. That's really funny. This "bedspread" was really a sheet. Sometimes I hung it on the wall too. It was very versatile. Checkerboard was such a thing in the 80s. I think I bought it at Macy's. On TREND, Macys.
